Zepz company statement regarding the Transaction Record Analysis Center

Neither Zepz or its remittance brands WorldRemit or Sendwave, has shared data of any kind with the Transaction Record Analysis Center, or TRAC, a database that monitors the flow of funds through money services between the U.S. and countries around the world. Furthermore, WorldRemit has had no interaction with the nonprofit, by way of subpoena or other.

Lastly, we believe that immigrants and their families have a universal right to expect financial data privacy and we will continue to safeguard customers from unwarranted access to personal information.

User privacy and security remain a top priority for our company, and as such, Zepz is committed to protecting users’ privacy and ensuring transparency in the process of handling all user data. Zepz has comprehensive policies in place to ensure that customers are equipped with necessary safeguards. In line with legal requirements for international money transfer services, Zepz maintains best practices in anti-money laundering efforts while adhering to U.S. regulatory standards. 

However, where Zepz and its brands have reason to suspect fraud, money laundering, counter terrorist financing, or any other illegal activity, we are required to share relevant information with authorized government agencies.
