I*mRocio. One thing I am proud of is my resourcefulness and courage. Looking back at my upbringing in Peru, these were key tools in my survival kit. It enabled me to find the good in everyday life, create solutions, and imagine a better world.
Yes, I am a go-getter. In my job I help people who are fighting addiction. Everybody faces challenges but we have to lift one another up. Empathy in my work goes a long way and as a Latina woman, raised to be passionate and ambitious, I’m highly motivated to support communities here and my family back home. I am incredibly grateful to be able to send money back home and help when I can.
I’m making a world of difference by caring for the vulnerable in Hendon, and sending money back home to help my family live their best lives in Peru.
