I*mErmar. Like martial arts choreography, I’m a combination of many things. I’m a stunt performer, a martial arts instructor, a brother, a provider, a protector, and a father. But most of all, I’m a proud Filipino promoting martial arts in the UK.
My love for martial arts extends beyond physical practice. To me, it’s all about reconnecting with my Filipino roots, as I practise Eskrima, a martial arts style indigenous to The Philippines. Not only has this helped me learn more about my heritage, but it has also helped me with my mastery of self-discipline, will power, and focus. It has positively changed my life, which is why it’s my passion to spread the teachings around the world, wherever I go.
I’m making a world of difference by sharing Eskrima here in the UK, and by sending money back home to Pinas, to help pay for my niece's school fees.
