I*mKossim. Nothing makes me prouder than my Beninois heritage. It has fuelled my love for our history, as well as my passion for making authentic African stories accessible in the UK. My fondest memories of home in Benin are simple: during Ramadan breaking fast around a large table decked with an array of mouthwatering African cuisine as we eat, drink, crack silly jokes, and enjoy the blessing of each other’s company.
I am a product of diverse cultures, and I am proud to contribute to both.
I’m making a world of difference by telling African stories in the UK, and helping my parents achieve their goals in Benin by sending money back home.
