At WorldRemit, we’ve spent the last nine years working hard to reduce the cost and complexity of sending money overseas. In the process, we’ve helped millions of people stay connected with their friends, families and communities.

We’re excited to launch an international payments service for businesses, who face many of the same problems as individuals when sending money abroad.

How can WorldRemit help my business?

Global network

We have had many businesses reach out to us because they’re simply not able to send money to the places where they’re doing business. These places are usually not remote destinations - they are often large countries in Africa, Asia and South America.

Our new business service offers a truly global payments solution, spanning 140 countries across six continents.

Low fees

The majority of businesses still make international payments via their banks, despite high transaction fees (and the often hidden costs that are levied on recipients). While these costs have been regulated or competed downwards in large developed markets, they remain very high when sending to developing countries.

Our new service will drive down the cost of cross-border payments for businesses, allowing them to put the savings back into their companies and communities. Take a look at how our international transfer fees compare to major UK banks here:

Speedy service

It can take traditional international payments companies weeks rather than hours to sign up a new business customer. What’s more, when a company is eventually onboarded, payments often take days instead of hours.

Our sign up process is quick and easy, and over 90% of our transfers are authorized within 10 minutes or less.

Convenient payout network

We provide businesses with a variety of convenient ways to send money abroad, including bank transfer, cash collection and mobile money transfer.

We offer the most relevant payout methods in each market that we operate in, so employees and freelancers can be paid in the way that suits them best.

We also offer both senders and recipients notifications when money has been sent and received so they can track their transfer’s journey at every step.

So, how does it work?

Creating a WorldRemit business account is easy. Simply visit our Sign Up page, select a Business account and provide the information requested.
