Regional Marketing Planner

London

Who are we?

WorldRemit is changing the way people send money internationally. We’ve taken something complicated and made it as simple as sending a text. And we’re growing. Fast.

To do this, we need to hire bright people who can work autonomously and make the right decisions.

Who we’re searching for...?

WorldRemit is looking for a forward-thinking, structured and analytically minded marketer to join our team. As our business grows fast and our marketing activities intensify and scale up, the Regional Marketing Planning Manager will build a roadmap for growth, and plan and project-manage multi-channel marketing campaigns in send and receive markets across all regions. By optimising and consolidating our planning process, you’ll play a key role in ensuring WorldRemit ultimately achieves business objectives.

Key to this will be the ability to work collaboratively with marketing and business stakeholders from across WorldRemit. The Regional Marketing Planning Manager will have an excellent and up-to-date breadth of knowledge on marketing channels and an excellent understanding of the marketing nuances in different regions of the world. He/she will thrive on constantly pushing the boundaries to ensure WorldRemit’s campaign planning is seen as best in class.

As a Regional Marketing Planner, you’ll,

  • Regional Marketing planning: You’ll define a strategy and roadmap for growth in our send and receive markets, working closely with the regional marketing teams and key stakeholders. This involves:
    • You’ll build the regional campaigns calendar, based on an in-depth analysis of customer and market trends, and key learning drawn from past campaigns.
    • You define the strategy of key cross-regional campaigns (target, incentive, message, creatives, channels), leveraging the knowledge and expertise from regional teams, the different channel managers and the wider business. You’ll project-manage the preparation and execution of these cross-regional campaigns, developing detailed project plans and milestones.
    • You’ll coordinate with and report progress and results to different stakeholders across the business in a clear and timely manner.

  • Holistic marketing view: You’ll build a holistic dashboard of regional marketing activities, including multi-channel marketing campaigns, but also regional campaigns and mono-channel activities (online, CRM, PR, offline…). You’ll identify gaps between planned activities and business priorities, and you’ll provide recommendations about how to optimise marketing plans to best reach our business objectives. You’ll also advocate for new initiatives or process improvements using customer research, hard data, and marketing & business metrics to derive insights and shape recommendations.

Regional Marketing budget: You’ll consolidate the budget of the regional marketing team, ensuring that the budget is spent as planned, flagging any discrepancy between plans and spend, and drawing recommendations about how to optimise marketing spend.
