Financial Reporting Senior Manager

Responsibilities

Statutory Accounting:

• Review and prepare Statutory accounts for all entities
• Ensure that all accounting standards are met
• Research specific accounting treatments and propose/recommend to the Senior Financial Controller

Audit:

• Follow through all financial annual audits and drive deadlines given the internal resources
• Lead the audit as the point of contact between the auditors and the whole organisation
• Review the key controls prior to the year-end audit

Month-end close:

• Work closely with global stakeholders (Investors, Regulators, auditors etc.)
• Assist in month and quarterly reporting (Transfer Pricing, Leases, shared based Payment etc.)

Continuous improvement of all financial reporting tasks and any other Ad-hoc projects

Summary of required experience & attributes

• Big 4 audit experience with at least 5 years PQE
• Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA/IIA/CIMA, additional IT audit qualifications preferred
• Extensive experience in a finance department at a large international business, payment services experience advantageous
• Proven leadership qualities with ability to build credibility at the highest levels of the organisation
• Extensive skill and experience in effectively presenting complex information to senior executives
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Self-motivated and hands-on approach to working; able to work in a fast paced, dynamic, start-up environment and be able to operate with ambiguity
