Who we’re searching for...

As a Business Analyst you’ll be closely working with the Product and Engineering Teams on the work to improve our platform moving towards a microservice architecture, focusing on continuous delivery, scalability and system resilience. This role will work closely with Engineering Teams and Business Stakeholders to deliver new technology stacks, replace or migrate existing services and onboard new technology partners, to provide a broader set of payout options to our customers. Strong communication skills, analytical thinking and a love of detail are all must-have traits.

  • Plan, execute and delivery of new engineering projects
    • Create Epics, Stories and Tasks in Jira
    • Consider functional and non-functional requirements, including
      • Performance
      • Security
      • Monitoring
      • SEO/GA/GTM
      • Data Compliance
      • Reporting
    • Maintain backlog in advance of Sprint Planning/Review Sessions Weekly
    • Plan and publish high-level delivery plan and schedule, highlighting risks
    • Drive project changes based on data from business, partners, customers and team
    • Ensure project is documented for other dev teams to easily reference
  • Report weekly on metrics, obstacles, plan and delivery schedule
  • Work closely with Scrum Masters, Developers, QA and DevOps/CloudOps to plan and deliver releases
  • Work closely with Stakeholders to ensure the of the delivered solution meets the original business requirement. Stakeholder should also be involved in final acceptance of delivery.
  • Handover to Product Manager upon completion of project, when relevant
    • Manage handover to PM and devs
    • Plan Knowledge Transfer to the new dev team
  • Communicate Project Value Proposition and Roadmap for Business Review
  • Facilitate engaging user groups and workshops to communicate and agree project objectives with all stakeholders
  • Coach and mentor other members of the team

You will have:

  • Hands on experience as a seasoned Business Analyst ( ≥3 years of experience or more)
    • Experience in International Remittance Services/FinTech Industry
    • Ability to lead short/mid-term projects with new teams
    • Enjoy working with ambiguity whilst driving clarity for tangible outcomes
    • Experience with API/Microservices and Web Technologies as core building block in projects
  • Proven track record of delivering business value through technology
    • Creation of new services and content
    • Migration and transformation of services and content
    • All deliverables to consider impact of scalability, reliability, as well as drivers that are incumbent upon this business such as SEO, security and data protection, performance, monitoring, etc
    • Establishing dashboard(s) and baselines of services to monitor and alert for exceptions
  • Experience of working with a business re-platforming their technology
  • Experience with Agile / Kanban / Scrum software delivery methodologies and practices, preferably Atlassian services (Jira, Confluence)
  • Proven track record of delivering business value through technology
  • Experience in gathering functional and nonfunctional requirements, writing user stories and mapping out processes
  • Team player with the ability to align the team’s work to business outcomes
  • Experience in facilitating workshops with stakeholders of different levels of seniority or backgrounds
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability for regular travel (ie Ukraine)
