Who we’re searching for...?

All of our customers are important to us and providing a great customer experience is at the core of who we are. We’re on the hunt for someone to join our marketing team and help us better connect with our customers online and build a brand that people truly enjoy dealing with. Our aim is to speak to our users wherever they are and flying the WorldRemit flag anywhere that our customers may be.

This is not a customer service role but a customer engagement role, you will need to be confident and comfortable speaking to people from 150 different countries and be our brand ambassador across social media, review sites and beyond.

You will work with the existing Social Media team to stay on top of trends and ensure that our engagement strategy covers as much of our community as possible. We have a large Customer Service team to support with all technical and account queries freeing you up to chat with and proactively engage our customers and potential customers.

 

Have you got what it takes?

  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Customer centric mindset
  • The empathy to judge tone and sentiment of each comment and react accordingly
  • The drive to improve upon the systems and processes that we already have in place
  • The ability to coach the customer services team on tone of voice, brand perception and difference that clear, timely responses can make
  • The confidence to manage stakeholder relationships from around the business including senior members of the marketing, product and customer service teams

 

Experience and attributes

  • Two years’ experience as a Community Manager or Social Media Customer Service agent
  • A second language is a big plus (ideally Spanish or French)
  • A strong understanding of the part a community plays in brand perception, loyalty and growth
  • Hands on experience with social media listening, analytics and publishing tools
